Security and OPtimization of
Stochastic Systems Lab,
of the
Security and Optimization Group
at Bowie State University, Bowie, MD.
Our work involves investigating and establishing the structures in the interaction of intelligent agents with conflicting & mutually unknown motivations in stochastic systems. This problem manifests in optimization & security situations of computational, biological, and socio-economic systems.
In SOPSS Lab we work on many related areas of computational sciences. The work involves
machine learning,
mathematical modeling,
information theory, and
the design & analyses of algorithms for learning & optimization,
design and development of optimization and security and recommendation systems.

Dr. Shandilya presented a guest lectures in AISOC lab , CMU on 25 Mar 2024 and Department of Mathematics in University of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh on 26 Mar 2024.
Dr. Shandilya is now on the technical committee of 2024 5th International Conference on Advances in Education and Information Technology (AEIT 2024- www.aeit.net )”, scheduled from January 5-7, 2024 in Nagoya, Japan.
